CARTER BROWN is made up of guitarist and vocalist MATT RUSSELL, lead guitarist PAUL GELLATLY, bassist JAMES WHEELWRIGHT and drummer WILL CRYSELL. The band started just a year ago playing any venue that would have them across the Southeast and London. After being offered a single deal by WORST CASE SCENARIO RECORDS and some fortuitous airplay on BBC Radio 6, Carter Brown have gone on to headline shows at THE METRO (London), THE MOLES (Bath), and THE FREEBUTT (Brighton) ripping off roofs with huge hooky songs and intensity filled live performances. Their debut single “Say Hello”, having been played on BBC RADIO 6 and XFM (as well as an abundance of local and college radio stations) was requested by CREATIVE to feature on their Mp3 players and has since gone on to be licensed to SONY PLAYSTATION for use on its popular racing game MOTO GP ’07.
